Question by : Is it possible for 2 US Citizens to start a divorce proceeding while residing overseas? We were married in Florida where we have permanent residence. We have only one minor who is 15 and I don't see any custody battle. We share some assets, but I doubt there will be anything contested. Are online divorce services an option? Can we avoid attorneys (always desirable)? Thanks! Best answer:
