Q&A: Divorce, Custody Question?

Question by $ h!tBird: Divorce, Custody Question? My best friend is just starting the process of getting a divorce ( in PA). Her husband makes good money, they have 3 children under the age of 5, She has no degree and has always been a stay at home mom. They just build a new house that is in both of their names, and a car that is just in his name. since his income is her income she's just wondering what she's in for? He will give her the car, kids, and house. but will she have to pay the loan payments? how do you pay for an attorney? she has no family, and no friends because he's controlled her and been abusive. Please any experience with this FrenchCan007 G - I'm the only one she has, I haven't told her to divorce him, or stay with him. I'm simply there for her Best answer:
