We own a home and live in Michigan, but we were married in Wisconsin. Do I file Wisconsin papers, because that is where we were married, or MI, where we reside? I would truly appreciate an educated answer. (I know, call my attorney) My attorney is also his, so until I retain my own, I need to know the state issue.
