Power of Attorney wondering how it works in the state of Florida!?

Question by : Power of Attorney wondering how it works in the state of Florida!? I know someone who is getting a divorce, but has a car under the persons name that's in jail but no name what so ever of the spouse, if he/she signs Power of attorney from a police station can he/she girlfriend/boyfriend get the car, instead of the spouse, in the state of Florida? The Power of Attorney has only he/she info no 2 witness signatures. My friend tried to use the power of attorney for the bank and they told him/her that it was accpetable because they're isn't 2 witnesses. What should he/she do, can she/he still get the car? Yes. If your friend is incarcerated, his attorney should be able to provide him with the proper paperwork to allow someone else to pick up the vehicle if it has been released from police custody.
