Question by : Desperate4 legal advice on ability to divorce & gain custody by filing without lawyer? My daughter has no money,is struggling.Left extremely abusive husband in PA,moved to TN so I could help her.I need to know if i can attain paperwork and stand up for her in place of attorney in order to divorce him and work out custody.The man has a record already fr abuse and holding her hostage,threatening to kill her and children, never working and more. Please help if you know anything at all. many thanks NOTE:Please do not consider lawyer as an option i have no money whatsoever,and legal aid wont help me here in TN.I tried everything.
