divorce in a different state?

Question by : divorce in a different state? my friend is separated from her spouse, she moved to a different state a month ago, & asked how to get a quick divorce. But she is not a resident in pa for 6mo. so what will happen if she will file in pa? to get a divorce in a certain state, you must be a resident of that state for a certain length of time. no attorney & no signature from her spouse. so can she do it or not? i don't want to be trapped. I left nc a month ago. My husband didn't file divorce there because i'm not sure can he do it fast. I want to file in Pa but what court here can do with this situation? i need to finalize divorce....
